Teaching

I have over 10 years of experience in higher education and edtech, with a focus on narrative, visual storytelling and creative brand communication. Since completing my Honours degree at the University of Pretoria (B.A. Honours Information Design) and my masters degree at Stellenbosch University (MPhil Visual Arts [Illustration]), my experience as a story art director, visual narrative designer, motion designer and educator has provided a base from which to craft stories with maximum creative impact. My teaching philosophy involves driving a culture of independent practice by encouraging collaboration between students and academic staff through self-initiated editorial and digital visual narrative projects.
